Erica Campbell Instagram – Well look what someone sent me!! this is so cool! I remember this time in my life. I remember asking my pastor Uncle Charles how he felt about it. And he said I feel like there’s something you’re supposed to learn, so go ahead and go on the road. I was the lead singer at my church and back then secular music was still considered “sinful” I was excited and terrified and many of my church folks didn’t understand. I learned so much that was so different from church about the business and about stag! God kept my mind and my heart while I was out the road. RIP to #JulieDelgado who taught me the background singers are not slaves. She was very professional, and a great part of the reason I try my best to treat my BGV as well. They’ve been with me over 10 years by the way!! anytime I see Brian McKnight, or Eric Benet, who I also sang, for I always tell them I still remember my background parts!! Thanks @oldies_jams for reminding me of #20something Erica❤️ But why do I still look like a church girl with my sway?🤣🤣
