5 Years ago I was cast to play two apposing forces- two completely different characters that each challenged me in different ways.
The 100 was an adventure to say the least- because of this show I was able to travel all over the world-
Meet incredible fans and make wonderful life long friends.
#Becca my kind hearted gentle genius. She sacrificed her life to save the human race. She took responsibility for her mistakes and tried to right her wrongs. Important Values I instil in my children and I personally live by- Portraying Becca was a lesson in being humane and selfless.
#ALIE my purely logical AI –
Alie was a robot, programmed to deduce the best way to preserve humanity through algorithms.
She did not feel or think – she was not angry or vengeful.
Alie was a wonderful/ professional challenge for me. I was Asked to create a typically “ boring, one note” character- and hoped she wouldn’t be boring or one note-
I tried to give her “ life”, a presence and a power in simple subtle movements. The process of discovering ALIE was similar to ALIEs process of determining the best plan of action- through algorithms- I asked lots of questions to @rothenberg.jason ( who I drove crazy, I’m sure) and came up with the best logical solution to portray this character.
