Gemma Atkinson Instagram – Keep showing up! Slowly but surely my body is beginning to move like it did pre pregnancy. I’ve continued with my stretching even when I really didn’t feel like it. I told myself when Thiago was 2 months old “starting tonight I’m stretching for 8 MINS EVERY NIGHT” That’s it. My stopwatch is set and I do it. It’s paid off, because I’m now back to where I was. Joints moving more freely, no more aches and pains, it’s much easier to carry Thiago as I’ve regained some strength and I feel more motivated to do daily tasks. In having good flexibility as well I know I’m decreasing my risk of injury in my training (I’m laying the foundations now for when Evil Steve steps in) I tried to stretch as much as possible in pregnancy and I know it helped a lot, but man it feels Great doing it minus the extra 3 stone and baby bump 😂 If there’s something you’ve been thinking of starting or doing to challenge yourself. Do it! Keep showing up. In just 2 months from now you’ll be in a completely different place both Mentally, and physically. KEEP SHOWING UP! 🙌🏼
