I wanted to go back to church. I started church “shopping” 7/9/23. I went to a different church every week until 11/12/23. . I needed it to be nondenominational but Christian. I wanted it to be close to my where I live . I wanted to have upbeat music. I wanted them to read from the Bible and have a sermon that I enjoyed. I wanted a pastor with a sense of humor. I wanted the church to have life groups or ministry groups that I could get involved with . I wanted to feel like I could create a community. I found @tcotw. ❤️ . Tonight was my first Christmas block party with the church on the way. It was fantastic! Lots of families received free gifts, hot cocoa, got to take their picture with Santa Claus, ride the train, play games, etc. I invited a few friends. Thank you to my church @mytcotw for a gorgeous Christmas Eve morning service! I just chose this church recently, so this was my first Christmas Eve service and I have to say how incredibly moved I was! The songs were extra special, the message was beautiful as usual, and they passed out candles which we lit one by one, they lowered lights, and we prayed. It was beautiful! . Merry Christmas to everyone! May you have a peaceful holiday! 🎄❤️
I had the chance to go downtown to see “A Christmas Story the Musical” and oh my gosh…. This show is BEAUTIFUL and so fun and just filled me with lovely memories of my own childhood. I watched this movie as a kid every Christmas and seeing it come to life on stage was an emotional experience for me (I know, I’m such a softy!) .
