I knew when I took you in you didn’t have long and you needed a peaceful place to be. I loved watching movies with you while you chewed on my necklaces. I loved our walks in the garden and watching you discover a bird fountain. I loved you watching butterflies in the monastery out the window. I loved that you lived way longer than we thought and seemed comfortable and happy despite having cancer. You made it to see 2024 and defied science and space and time. I never got to see you fly by the time I got you but I imagine you’re flying like you used to in heaven. I love you so much and I’ll miss you always. Fly free sweet girl. 💔❤️🙏🏻
