Golshifteh Farahani Instagram – Winter solstice ( Yalda ) is one of the most important national celebrations in Iran. For us the year 2023 was probably one of the saddest years we have ever lived as a nation. We lost precious lives, eyes, souls. We lost dreams, and sometimes hopes… It’s hard to celebrate when the core of our nation is grieving deeply. But we keep holding the light in our hearts on this longest night of the year.
