Hāwane Rios Instagram – 9 6 D A Y S It has been 96 days and over 70 years of Israeli torture, torment, and absolute evil terror unto the land and people of Palestine. I have been refraining from posting in this space because instagram threatened to take my page down completely after taking away my collaborator feature because they said my posts, “go against community guidelines.” The martyring of over 30,000 innocent civilians goes against all humanitarian guidelines and I honestly am beside myself that the FUCKING WORLD has let this go on for this fucking long. I’m so disgusted with all the ‘leaders of the free world’ that could actually do something. I’m so fucking disgusted with content creators, artists, and all the rest of the people that have huge platforms that have said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING this whole time but still post their meaningless content as if MULTIPLE GENOCIDES aren’t happening right now. It’s not just tone def, it’s inhumane and honestly so many people have not only lost my respect but my friendship and allyship. And honestly, if you really think that Palestinian people deserve this, don’t ever speak to me again. Don’t ever ask me for help. Don’t ask me to sing and speak at your events. Don’t ask me for my solidarity. Don’t ask me for my friendship and sisterhood. If you believe in evil Israel and evil Zionists, you no longer will have a place at my table or in my life. I stand with Palestine with everything that I am. I stand with all the innocent. I stand with the people! And if this was happening to Hawai’i, I know in my soul we would fight back. We always have, in every way. And yes, I don’t believe in violence, and yet, horrific violence is what is fucking happening right now to INNOCENT CIVILIANS so I have no judgement on how Palestinian people decide to defend themselves from this massacre. I stand with the resistance! Long live the Intifada! My solidarity is sacred. My solidarity is true. And when I say I will stand with Palestine forever, I mean it. This is not a war.
