HercuSleaze Instagram – I’m entering a new era of my drag 💜For a year after the tv show aired I was able to pay my bills by performing & teaching drag, and with the occasional sponsored post. I felt lucky to be able to turn my passion into a career but the increased attention that came with it made my anxiety skyrocket! I felt tied to the treadmill of maximizing the exposure I’d received and it stripped away a lot of my love for the artform. This year I’ve been processing that pressure and those high expectations, and I’ve been taking space back in my life for Meags. I’m finally at a place now where I’m at peace about doing just what I can and only what feels good. My goal is to make looks that interest me and to perform acts that make my friends laugh. If I can still book the occasional well paying gig here and there, I’ll be grateful for those opportunities! 💜 Hooray for improved mental health!
