Hilde Skaar Instagram – I’m a Little late to the new years party but WHATEVER I’m gonna sum up 2023 either way haha!!
2023 is OVER and I’ve been scrolling through my phone to find pics/videos to sum up the year. Looking through everything made me realize how craaaazy last year was for me. Not sure how one instagram post can express how I feel but I will give it my best shot. It’s been one of the most challenging years of my life but without a doubt also one of the best!!!
I’ve played more shows than I’ve ever done before, did my first Norwegian headline tour, toured with Tori Amos around Europe, played festivals in France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Finland (I might be forgetting some places too?!?!?) had a UK and Ireland headline tour AND released my debut album. And also debuted as an actor?? Aaaand ended the year with my face on Times Square?!?!? W T F.
With all of this still fresh in my memory I just have to say that I can’t thank you enough. To the people who’s been creating the music with me, my band who’s been performing and traveling with me all year, my team that feels like my family, the new friendships I’ve gotten this year and my family and life long friends that always support me and have my back even when I don’t deserve it. I feel extremely lucky. ❤️
Last but not least I wanna thank you for listening to my music. None of this would have been possible without you. This year I’ve released songs that are really personal and private and I’ve been sharing a lot of my mental health through music. Thank you for sending me messages where you share your stories, coming to my shows and just being suuuuuch wonderful human beings 🥹 I feel sososo lucky!!!
