Jana Kesenheimer Instagram – What, you’re still cycling? – is a sentence I hear quite often lately. Indeed, I cycle less, and I run more (yes, run), and go skiing (both the thin and thick kind).
Winter bikepacking, it must be admitted, is considerably less smooth than in the summer. Still, I’ve made it a tradition with Simone to be on the road for three days every winter. And, what can I say, we had to clean the bikes from the mud sometimes twice a day, but the Pistachio Dolci and the tired legs made us as happy as we’ve been in a long time. My face was red from the cold and sun on Monday. So worth it (also investing in waterproof winter cycling shoes…)
