Jennifer Esposito Instagram – Well 2023 you tried to kill me- but you didn’t- you taught me- showed me- just how fucking resilient my soul is. It was seriously the hardest and the most proud year of my life. Thank you @valerie_complex2 from the bottom of my heart for the support of my film, Fresh Kills. Adding @emily_bader @odessaazion and me to this list with these mega talents means the world. Especially with us not having distribution yet- (But have a 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is higher than most films in awards consideration right now and, sold out screenings) I digress. Onward. What a way to end the year that tried so deeply to break my heart. Yes, Fresh Kills WILL make it to screens next year and then I’m depending on you ALL- the ones who’ve been pushed aside, the people over looked, the ones “not in the club”, those that speak up, speak out and exist a little too close to freedom, to come out and support us! It’s not only about my film- it’s about believing that art, human stories and hard work still matter! I love you all. Keep dreaming and then acting on those dreams. Dreams without conviction to do that HARD work will stay a dream!! To @leslieowen_omg @3fttoss @chriscrokos and @jespervesterstroem not sure where I’d be without you this year. To everyone who sent good wishes, came to support at a festival or simply came here to drop a kind world to me or WHOMEVER- keep going.
