Jess Impiazzi Instagram – Today I had my appointment with Rheumatology to check on my Lupus and how the meds are going… I’ve got to start on another medication called Azathioprine, alongside my hydroxychloroquine and my low dose of steroid. We were hoping the last 3 months on hydroxychloroquine would have been enough but I still have a high rheumatoid factor. I’m a bit nervous to start the new meds as it means for about 3 months I need blood tests every two weeks but hopefully this gets everything to a better place and I can stop having flare ups and painful joints (I feel like my Nan atm 🤦🏻‍♀️) So fingers crossed the next few months and the new meds get me to a good place 🥰 If anyone who has #lupus or any other #autoimmunedisease and is on these meds would love to hear your experiences with them! 🩵 In the mean time I’m powering on and reminding myself of the things I am doing and how far I’ve come from earlier on this year 🥰💪🏼 keeping positive 🩵💖
