Jill Zarin Instagram – This was almost 2 weeks ago. My mom is suffering from viral and bacterial pneumonia @brrhfoundation @baptisthealthsf for the past week. My sister Lisa came down as soon I set off the “alarms”. My mom has good hours but overall is weak as a fly and has no appetite . We have 6 specialties consulting for various reasons and it’s overwhelming. Gary is my mom’s real hero. He volunteered to take care of her overnight thinking it would be 1-2 nights. 6 nights later he bought some furry throws and good pillows to help them both be more comfortable as she has fits of coughs in between sleep, vitals, meds etc. He is a saint. Does this mean I have to be nice to him now? Oh no! ( just kidding!!!) My mom can’t be alone for 1 minute. Seriously. She has terrible anxiety and my father knows what to do but we won’t let him in the hospital anymore to avoid him getting sick too. So Gary sits by her side all night long holding her hand half the time. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude, sadness and terrible fear. Thank you to everyone who heard my pleas for help and sent me information but mostly for the love and kindness for my mother and my family. #familylove
