– prioritizing working on my goals over socializing or “networking” 📍(so easy to get distracted in LA when there’s always so much to do!)
– Muay Thai classes (discovered this in Thailand and fell in love) 🥊
– reading before bed 📖 (no expectations or limits, just reading as much as i have time for. currently reading Be Your Future Self Now by Dr. Benjamin Hardy)
– planning every day and night (as someone who likely has ADHD, this has been a ✨game changer✨ for me with getting distracted less) 🗓️
– getting nails done regularly 💅🏼 (i feel so much better about myself when my nails are done)
– habit-stacking 📈 (pairing something you don’t wanna do with something you get to do/like doing)
– cultivating a community of like-minded people 🧠 (you become the 5 people you spend the most time with!)
OUT:
– saying yes to not disappoint someone ❌ (not a people-pleaser anymore)
– letting files photos on my computer and phone go into an unsorted black hole of doom (now, everything gets organized as soon as i save it or deleted immediately) 📸
– getting annoyed with bad drivers (hahah i am chill about most things in my life except clutter and bad drivers 😅)
– boxing myself into one identity or thing – i can do more than one thing & be good at all of them (more on this soon 👀📦)
– being late (ADHD = time optimism, meaning we always think we have more time than we do. i’m often on time but scrambling, or 2-5 mins late. i’d like to start being EARLY)
– friendships where hyping up each other’s accomplishments isn’t reciprocal 👯♀️ (being very selective about where i invest my energy)
– disposable makeup wipes 💄 (trying to reduce my waste!)
– taking initiative first in dating 🙅🏼♀️ (historically have been the first to text, show interest etc. but i’m staying in my lane 🙃)
