Ok @yasharali post 3 on skin and it’s sunscreen. Yes EVERYONE should be wearing sunscreen everyday. Even if it’s not sunny. It seems so obvious but you also have to reapply. My fave is a brand from New Zealand called @skinnies_co and the one I use is the conquer. It’s also the only brand I use on my son pretty much. NZ has some of the harshest uva and uvb rays with skin cancer being the number one cancer in the country. The NZ government is very strict on sunscreen because of that. Even when I posted our holiday pic I thought of Mana. His life is a reminder of many things. Gratitude. Family. Love. Fun. What you did for his parents this year was deeply compassionate. Lesley-Ann Brandt Instagram - Ok @yasharali Skincare tip number 2. Hydration. Skin flooding. Moisture. I had a typical oily-combination skin growing up. Used to hate it but boy am I grateful for those natural oils now. All I do now is add moisture so two favorites of mine. (Full disclosure I have over 80 different products on rotation and will eventually share all. You don’t need them all. A simple regime is best but I’m just a skincare junkie.) A hyaluronic acid by @skinceuticals and for that glass skin feel and look, the tulip nectar by @bloomeffects This has probably been my most recommended product to my friends and was my go to when I was shooting the Ones Who Live because of that dry winter air in NJ. I believe we lead with our skin and that so many struggle with what to use at different stages of our lives so first up, peels. I’ve always been SO careful with peels for obvious reasons. There’s pretty much only two I use and @shanidarden ‘s triple acid exfoliating peel is one of them. She’s always used it in my facials but has now developed it for at home use. Very simple and safe for all skin types. It’s a quick brightening and pore purifying treatment that leaves you glowing. This is me day after doing one.
