Marlhy Murphy Instagram – For my last song of the year, I really wanted to release a song with a deeper meaning. This song is about caring about someone so much but finally realizing that they don’t feel the same. The idea is that you would go to the furthest lengths possible but they would never do the same in return. While the song is fairly melodramatic with certain lyrics, it all boils down to a realization of your worth not being appreciated by someone you would do anything for. This is a really tough feeling to overcome, and I wanted to write this song as a source of empowerment and comfort to anyone who isn’t being appreciated for their worth, and needs to move on to a brighter 2024🧡 also major thanks to everyone involved on this one and my amazing Versailles-style head banging buddies for kicking butt in the video loll💃also many thanks to @spotify for their support 🧡
