Happy National Dog Day to YOU. Today is the day you came home after 6 scary days in the hospital. Talk about irony. I’ve always known how incredibly sweet and tough you are. But wow, what a fighter. I am better to know you and to love you. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world that I have shared the past ten years with you and looking forward to another ten more. My brave, brave Bubba. I kept telling the doctors “you don’t understand, it’s sincerely not his time.” And of course “but no one on planet earth loves me like Bubba loves me!!!😭” and here we are.
