Nothing lasts forever, and so I bid Matilda Webber a fond adieu, with a smile in my heart and gratitude to all of the fans who loved her. I have cherished the messages, videos, and letters from parents over the years who shared with me that their child who had a difference felt a little less alone in the world having seen someone like me on their tv screen every week. This is a gift that I will treasure always.
To my cast members who became my family, I truly love you. I will carry the many special moments we’ve shared in my heart forever. The laughter, the teardrops, the bonds we grew and strengthened through the good times and the traumatic times too.
I am grateful to our hard working crew. I can only hope to work with you all again and again. Our incredibly talented writers throughout all of our seasons, I thank you all for the wonderful words and storylines you afforded Matty. Many of you have now become friends.
To the fans. Our loyal amazing fans, you were the lifeblood of our show. Thank you for all of your unrelenting support. It means everything.
