Nikki DeLoach Instagram – Today is my Mighty Mega’s birthday. She is my writing and producing partner and one of my best friends. Last Friday night, we gathered for Megan’s birthday to celebrate her and the premiere of the latest movie we wrote called, “True Justice.” We were surrounded by some of our nearest and dearest and it was pure JOY. Megan and I became work wives seven years ago. We wrote through Bennett’s diagnosis, his birth, the three heart surgeries that followed and all that entailed. We wrote through my Dad’s diagnosis, the journey with his disease and his passing. We wrote through her husband’s deployment. We wrote through Covid. And in 2023, we wrote “True Justice” through the death of her father. It’s been so so hard. Sometimes I look back and I don’t know how I survived these last seven years. And also God has been so good. I haven’t done a second of it without Megan by my side and an army of angels who have surrounded us, held us and loved us through it all. Just like they did on Friday night. We looked to our left and to our right and saw the smiling faces of so many earth angels who have carried us along the way. Megan, I love you so much. And I thank God every single day for gifting me with you. I pray that this next trip around the sun brings you more love and goodness than you ever imagined. Thank you for being my other half.
