Nikki Garcia Instagram – I use to do competitive track when I was young and eventually had to make a choice between competitive soccer and competitive track. I chose soccer bc I just loved being apart of a team sport and loved my soccer girls so much! At this time I was the youngest person ever to win and compete at Arco Jesse Owens Regionals. I totally choked in my regional race and didn’t make it to nationals. There’s a reason why. That story I’ll save for another time on our podcast. Great learning lesson even at that time for me and dealing with emotions and pressures. I loved my track coach and track team so much! I was such a huge fan of Jesse Owens and as you all know Marilyn Monroe growing up. Totally describes me then and now lol… girly tomboy always! If you know your history of Jesse Owens he was an incredible and iconic Olympic gold medalist tack and field athlete! 🥇🥇🥇🥇 I have so many more photos I came across from my track days.
