We have had good representation by our state legislators, but they will soon be terming out. I’m excited to support Steve because he and his wife Melinda McGraw @melinda_mcgraw are 30+ year residents of Assembly District 44, and 30+ year members of SAG-AFTRA, too. If elected, Steve will be the only member of the Assembly with any lived experience in the entertainment industry. (In addition to his SAG-AFTRA membership, Steve owned a small sound studio for a decade.) He is committed to fighting with all he has to keep entertainment jobs here in California. Steve is also endorsed by the California Teachers’ Association, Barbara Boxer, and Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL), among many many other people and organizations I trust.
