Preity Zinta Instagram – When I first met Gene 12 years ago, we both talked about our desire to visit Peru & hike the Inka trail & visit Machu Picchu. Some how life happened, we both got busy and this conversation stayed a conversation….. Until this New Year, my dear husband planned a last minute surprise trip for me. It was a trip to Peru to hike the Inka Trail & visit Machu Picchu. I cannot tell you how excited I was then & now to share this incredible trip n hike with all of you. Hopefully this can inspire some of you to visit & do this hike. For the rest of you who cannot make it this is how the hike looks like – One can do the 4 day hike or the 1 day hike. We did the last day hike – 16km which was mostly uphill. It was both exhausting & exhilarating at the same time. This was the perfect way to start the New year.
