Rachel Zegler Instagram – in 2022, i made the best movie with the best people. and we are now nominated for the people’s choice award for ‘the action movie of 2023’. i am also honored to be nominated in ‘female movie star of the year’ and ‘action star of the year’ alongside the amazing, incomparable @violadavis 🫶🏼 i just wanted to share a little bts out of appreciation for you, the fans, who make really cool moments like this possible. all of these moments were captured by francis lawrence. 1) in the studio recording ‘the hanging tree’, with the lights out to really give that haunting feeling lucy gray gives coriolanus when the song rings out in the woods. 2) lucy gray tucked in the rubble adding some poison to the water, caught on candid camera 3) the day @mackenzielansing and i solidified our forever bond as movie girlfriends because coral was just in love w/ lucy gray and didn’t know what to do with her complicated feelings 4) me, probably texting josh on set that he looked cute today 5) my best impression of a thwomp from super mario bros 6) my favorite genre of photo from a film set: ‘it takes a village’ 7) i sat on set in video village w/ francis and hadie and jo (and everybody else) while tom filmed That Scene in the woods and sang live to freak him out. they also played the track from a speaker elsewhere in the forest so he couldn’t tell where my voice was actually coming from. 8) anthea x lucy gray crossover? ✋🏽🤚🏽🐍⚡️ 9) my favorite photo out of all of these— my first day on set doing a quick camera/stunt rehearsal. little girl, big arena. my first day, fresh off the set of snow white, right off a plane from london. i was so terrified. it doesn’t look so scary anymore. if you feel moved to, please vote for us. we made this movie for you, the fans. because we’re fans, too. today your vote counts twice! head on over to votepca.com or click the link in my bio. 🩷🐍🕊️
