Rebecca Dalton Instagram – I can’t believe I’m writing this post. It’s years and years too soon. We lost our sweet boy to his battle with cancer. We tried so hard to fight it, and he was so strong and brave through it all, but the universe had other plans. I’ve never known anything so gentle, so snuggly and so full of life. In his honour, I will try to wake up every morning just ecstatic that the sun came up AGAIN! Even though everyone knows I’ll fail, I will try, damnit. His joy for life was something I’d never seen before and forever changed how I looked at what a gift just being alive truly is. His happiness filled the house, every moment of every day, and I’ll feel the empty space he left until we meet again. Although not long enough, they were the greatest 4 years we could’ve hoped for.
