Ryann Shane Instagram – happy #workoutWednesday ! Today’s circuit targets lower body using a kettle bell (but dumbbells work well here too). Repeat this circuit 3x: 1) weighted squat— focus here on proper form with your feet wider than your hips, keeping your weight in your heels as you bend your knees and lower. Make sure your knees are not knocking inward or moving further forward than your big toes as you squat down. Do 8-12 reps, or until you feel the 🔥 2) Romanian deadlift— make sure you’re in a proper stance with your feet hip width apart, slight bend in the knees, hips back. Hinge slowly at your waist and lower your torso over towards the ground, keeping your back straight, core engaged. As you raise back up, shift your hips forward and squeeze that booty! Repeat 8-12 times or until you feel the burn. 3) single legged deadlift— let one leg hang off the ground as you slightly bend the standing leg. Hold the dumbbell in the same hand as that standing leg. Keep your torso tight and straight, hinge at the hips and lean forward, letting your arm and kettle bell hang as dead weight as you reach over to the ground. Raise back up and repeat 8 times on one leg.
