Wearing a saree takes me back to the days when I’d see my mother get ready for her day. In her most beautiful saree, looking absolutely serene, Followed by the bangles, bindi and her favourite perfume to begin her day.
Somewhere between using her saree drape to hold and walk, to ask her to drape my first, I grew up. Being inspired by the first lady who brought the innocence of tradition to life, for me.
