I believe when you truly…deeply love something, you owe it to yourself to do whatever is possible to purse whatever it may be. You work hard. You follow those signs. You never stop dreaming — and you stay kind along the way. For me, it was always about family, connecting with people and home. Today you get to see all of that. From behind the scenes… to in front of the scenes.
This week I have been a roller coaster. A lot of excitement, a lot of nerves… even the occasional imposter syndrome here and there. But one thing that has kept me grounded, is the love and wild amount of support from my family, friends and work colleagues. Thank you for giving me the space to just be, and challenging me to grow into exactly who I am meant to be. Thank you for telling me it is OK TO SHINE! 🥹✨
This is just another chapter in my life, wherever it may take me, and I do not take any of it for granted. As a designer in the television industry, with both Mexican & Native American roots, I take this seat at the table very serious, and in the midst of this journey I only hope to inspire others who look like me. I love you all.
