💙 Friendships of over 20 years.
💙 Being at each others weddings.
💙 Watching our kids grow up.
💙 Cheering on each others wins.
💙 Being there through each other’s challenges.
💙 And having friends…become family.
💙 There nothing quite like it.
And when they invite you to Thanksgiving at the beach, and you offer to do the table-scape, you find yourself giddy putting together the flowers and succulents and arts and crafts of it all. 🌺
And then to see my boys frolic and play and surf and boogie board in the ocean… in November as the sun sets…reminds me that in this moment, I am right where I need to be.
What a beautiful day with old friends and new and so much to be to be thankful for.
I’ve lost both my parents and sometimes the holidays can be tough…without them here or seeing my beautiful boys grow up.
