Ajay Friese Instagram – This year has been one of my healthiest and shortest feeling years of my life. More than anything I feel so in love with the experiences, friends, places, and my own habits, attitudes and practices that have made me feel more connected to myself and the world than I’ve ever felt before. I just wanna give myself and the world an eternal hug.

On another note, this holiday season and new years has been one of the saddest and most angering I’ve ever felt. The existential horror as the world witnesses an oppressive violent state government commit genocide on a displaced people in real-time. The helplessness felt as the US government does nothing to stop it and instead actively collaborates on making it happen – makes me feel really angry, which is an emotion I’m not used to feeling.

I know so many of you are out there hurting right now because of this and we are not alone at all. Let our hearts feel one another. The desire for love, peace and friendship between people of all religions, ethnicities and nationalities will triumph and is built into our humanity. So many things make me so proud of the world and give me hope.
