Aloe Blacc Instagram – 20 years ago when I started on my solo artist journey, I experimented with lots of styles and sounds. I tried every genre and vibe just to stretch my skill set and learn more about myself and music. This song was a strange beast melting my interests in dance, house, hip hop, new wave, and RnB into an avant-garde stew. It became the A-side on my first release as a solo artist. So many amazing things happened for me during this time.
