Axel Kuschevatzky Instagram – As 2023 gradually fades away, we are thrilled to realize what a banner year this has been for our company, Infinity Hill. In the last 12 months we screened four films (The Extortion, A Bit of Light, Puan and The Rescue) and released two TV series (Staged season 3 and The Daughter of God). 50% of our projects were written and directed by women, and all our output was widly distributed and ranked high in platforms and local box office.
But above it all, we will always remember 2023 as the year we proudly saw movies and series reward their teams with global awards recognition.
An Oscar nomination, a Bafta Nomination. A Golden Globe win and two International Emmy Awards.
We saw our films awarded two San Sebastian Film Festival Awards, a Goya Award and a further Goya nomination to look forward to, a Gold Award at Cannes Lions Festival, six Nominations and one Ariel Award, Five Platino Awards, the Freedom Of Expression Award from the National Board of Review, two Huelva Film Festival awards, two Produ awards, a Macondo award, nineteen nominations and ten Sur awards and thirty three nominations and, finally, ten Condor awards.
Our TV series win two Telly awards, two New York Festival awards, and a Royal Television Society Midland Award.
Not bad for a tiny and young production company.
We would like to thank all our partners, in front and behind the camera, for all their love and commitment. Movies and series are group efforts and without actors, writers, directors, producers, huge teams, distributors, cinemas, studios and streamers, there wouldn’t be anything. Also thanks to audiences all around the world – we work for them! Films and TV shows are part of our DNA and create economic growth. We will always support them, no matter what.
