Bruce had incredible respect for Muhammad Ali. They were both fans of one another and appreciated not only their respective skill-set but their philosophies. Bruce had films of Ali’s fights sent to Hong Kong while filming Enter the Dragon. Reportedly, when cast mate John Saxon asked Bruce why he watched so much Ali footage, Bruce responded with a smile “Cause someday I’m gonna fight him.”
