Meet Hartford, Connecticut insurance salesman Terry Slater creator of the annual Nat Turner Rebellion Jubilation Re-Enactment Celebration. Terry is a citizen historian who believes it is his duty to pump and grind true black history into the minds and bodies of young white female Americans. Although Terry faced stiff opposition from all sides sometimes even from those closest to him, he continues to fight the good fight and speak his truth in these difficult times.
