Noong una akala ko it’ll just be about this group of misfits banding together para manalo sa isang Esports competition, but man I was sooooo wrong, really wrong. So far this is the best movie I’ve seen this year! Kwento ito ni Seth na isang gamer, on the surface his that misunderstood teenager at ang tanging kaligayahan lang ay ang maglaro ng online game. Kung kelan namang handa na siyang patunayan sa mundo na siya ang greatest gamer of all time… life happened. Now he needed to live with his estranged mother, had to deal with his failing grades at ang bagong team na kinabibilangan niya sa Esports competition is definitely a fixer-upper. Magiging okay ba sila ng nanay niya? Tuluyan na bang magiging drop-out si Seth? Makakamit pa ba niya ang panalo sa national competition? Maraming tanong sa kwento at lahat ito ilalahad sa kapanapanabik, kamangha-mangha at dramatic na pamamaraan! Prime Cruz is what this industry needs now. Alam niya ang gusto ng masang Pilipinong manonood, pero master din siya sa pag elevate ng quality ng pelikula. Producers should be panicking now on how to connect with him, he’s the real deal. Perhaps mapapansin mo na this movie has limited budget. But they did everything to make it look like a film na pasado kahit sa foreign, Holywood standards. It’s done with full of creativity. This is Donny’s best performance of his career. Bagay na bagay sa kanya yung role ni Seth. May angas, may angst, may puso at may pangarap. Seth’s gang, Tokwa’t Bad Bois, is something to watch out for! Gold Aceron, Iggy Boy, Johannes Isler and Baron Giesler mabuhay kayo! I’m a sucker for movies about dreamers and underdogs. And GG killed it! It’s a solid film, hindi lang para sa mga gamers, para ito sa lahat na may kakayahang mangarap at magmahal. GG is now showing in cinemas nationwide, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
