Elton John Instagram – Excited to share the incredible journey of Tammy Faye Bakker in “Better Angels: The Gospel According to Tammy Faye” at Sundance! As executive producers, we are proud to support this documentary series by director Dana Adam Shapiro, exploring the life of the ‘First Lady of the Electric Church.’ 📺✨ Tammy Faye was a true trailblazer, preaching diversity and inclusiveness. In today’s divided world, her message of bringing people together by celebrating differences is more relevant than ever. Having explored the various facets of her impactful life in the Tammy Faye musical, it’s wonderful to see her story told from this new perspective. Sending our heartfelt congratulations to the brilliant creative team behind this captivating project! 🙌 #sundance
Elton John Instagram – We won an Emmy and I am on cloud nine!! Receiving this recognition is a testament to the passion and dedication of everyone involved, and I am so deeply grateful.   Whilst I am gutted that I couldn’t be there to accept this award in person– I recently underwent a knee operation, a gentle reminder, perhaps, of a lifetime spent jumping off pianos (see pic 2!) – my heartfelt thanks go out to the @televisionacad and all those who took the time to vote. This award reflects the collective effort and creativity of an amazing team…   I want to express my deepest gratitude to @disneyplus, @davidfurnish, @lukelloyddavies, @mrbenwinston, and the entire @fulwell73productions and @rocketentertainment teams for your commitment to bring this to life.   A special acknowledgment goes to the exceptional band and the entire crew of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
