![Enrique Gil Instagram – After being away from the limelight, #EnriqueGil is back to tell us more about the man that he has become.
Despite contemplating leaving the entertainment industry, Enrique’s determination to leave a lasting impact kept him tethered to his mission. “Sabi ko, ‘I’m not just going to leave the industry nang ganiyan lang.’ I want to leave something behind,” he declared.
In our cover interview with the “I Am Not Big Bird” star, Enrique candidly discusses his transformative path and the pivotal changes shaping his career trajectory. As he delves into his latest venture with Immerse Entertainment, collaborating with Black Sheep and ANIMA Studios on the upcoming comedy “I Am Not Big Bird,” Enrique reveals his aspirations to elevate Philippine cinema to international acclaim.
“We can really break through. Filipino cinema can break through international [cinema],” he pictured. “So that’s the dream and the plan. At least ’yun—’yun ang gusto kong maiwan dito sa showbiz industry.”
As to what era he is currently entering, Enrique answered, “I don’t know! Businessman era? Yeah, [it] could be… Taking-charge era!”
