Fabrice Calmels Instagram – Arpino played a pivotal role in shaping my dance career. I owe him everything. He wasn’t just a mentor; he was like a father figure, not only to me but to an entire generation of dancers.
This celebration was a long-awaited tribute to the dedicated Joffrey dancers who poured their hearts into making the Joffrey Ballet what it is today. It was a moment to honor them and to pay our respects to Mr. Arpino, whose influence on the dance world is immeasurable(Gerald Arpino was a renowned American dancer and choreographer, co-founder of the Joffrey Ballet a significant figure in the world of dance.)
I’m deeply grateful to the Arpino Foundation and Moffat family for affording me this incredible opportunity. I’d also like to acknowledge Complexions Dance, Meg, Larissa, and Charles for their unwavering support and for joining me on this remarkable journey.
