To give people the benefit of the doubt and to never judge a book by its cover, the car they drove or the house they lived in.  That worrying about weather is a waste of time and the “love of sport days” are often the best days. You showed us that the “arts” could “open up the other side of your brain and take you for ride.” That books are cool, writing too. To focus on the process not the outcome.   To ignore the critics and arm chair quarterbacks and to dive into the ring and give it your all. That your word is everything. To have empathy for people and “walk a mile in their shoes.” That holding grudges is a waste of time and accept people for who they are. That family is everything. To not accept societal norms and to chase our dreams. That our destiny is in our hands and that hard work solves most problems. That life is always better with music.   That some lines can be crossed while others can’t. That your wife is always right. That hustle and grit is more important than talent. To not sweat the small stuff, it’s all small stuff. Thank you! 🙏
