Really? You could argue that the UK controlled Palestine in 1948, so it was theirs to give. But you can’t argue that Palestinians weren’t forced from their homes en masse to accommodate these Jewish refugees. And that’s still happening, as Israeli land theft has been happening since 1948. Imagine being a refugee from the Holocaust and seeking refuge in a country whose indigenous people you mistreat in ways in which your people were once mistreated. These Jews should’ve been grateful. Instead, they were hateful.
