This little one will, over the next decade or so, turn into the animal with one of the strongest bite forces in the world. More powerful than a lion, the only bites stronger are the alligator’s cousins, the Nile and Saltwater Crocodile.
I ran into a few other nature lovers yesterday while out photographing these gators, and twice heard someone say in disbelief at their size “like living dinosaurs, right?”
Though they may *look* like a living dinosaur, alligators have their own lineage and once lived alongside dinosaurs. But do you know what are living dinosaurs? Birds.
