Questlove Instagram – I’m known for hyperbolic statements, so I’ll try to take it down a trillion. I know I say “a special @QLS” all the time. But for me personally? In my head I’ve know that we did amazing near perfect episodes

-The Jimmy Jam 3parter
-The (unhinged) Family Stand episode
-The Greg Phillinganes ep
-the drunken Gina Rodriguez Christmas ep
-The Revolution ep w Wendy/Lisa/Suzannah/Bobby/Andre/Matt & Alan was special
-the Desus & Mero jawn woulda been illegal if y’all understood our “inside baseball” madness
-& especially the Mathew Knowles ep hit hard

I mean I love them all! I get to nerd out on people professionally——BUT!

imma go on record (lemme just add @skyetownsend & @robinthede’s name already cause I know she finna “YOU ARE WELCOME” all over the place)——but I will say: NO episode hit me in my feelings more than this #RobertTownsend episode

THIS is prolly the most exemplary episode of awesomeness

If you don’t know this gentleman? You should. He is TOO legendary. I mean I THOUGHT I knew @iamroberttownsend

Man LISTEN.

I keep this platform alive because I can’t teach at NYU anymore——but this?!

Man I wish I had a platform like this when I was first starting out at 16 full of self doubt & no manual on how to climb this mountain.

it’s an honor to be on the cover of the February 2024 issue of @businesstravelerusa. Thank you, L’Oreal Thompson Payton (@ltinthecity), for allowing me to share my passion for the culinary arts and equity in education. After all, it’s what led me to create this platform and join the board of @foodeducationfund – a New York City-based nonprofit that prepares high school students for careers in culinary arts, hospitality, and entrepreneurship, and most recently, to co-found the Future of Food Entrepreneurship Program (@fofprogram).
With @fofprogram, I’m able to do exactly as I’ve always hoped – to give back to a past version of me – with our four-week summer program, which provides high school students from historically disenfranchised communities with insight and opportunity into the emerging food and agriculture tech industries.
