Riyadh Khalaf Instagram – I may never recover from this 😭 Sir Richard Branson has been an inspiration of mine since I can remember and getting to interview him on such a monumental day was an honour I’ll never forget. After some chats on the ramp we boarded the @virginatlantic Dreamliner and powered down the runway rotating into the air while helicopters circled overhead capturing our historic takeoff for news outlets around the world. On board we erupted in applause and cheers as years of hard work and daring vision came to fruition. The world’s first transatlantic flight using 100% sustainable aviation fuel by a commercial airline was a roaring success and proves that this is the way towards a decarbonising the aviation industry.
