Rob Heaps Instagram – Hello, heartfelt post incoming! If you’re looking to do a random good deed this weekend, it would mean a lot if you would consider donating to the family of Billy Hookway. Billy tragically lost his life to cancer last year at the age of 36, leaving behind his wife Mariam and their 4 young girls. He was unable to get life insurance due to a pre-existing condition, and so his friends are now doing what they can to help Billy’s family financially, by cycling from London to Brighton this weekend to raise money for the cause (Billy was a keen cyclist). I’m in the wrong country so won’t be able to join the team but it will be an epic and emotional day.

I met Billy only a handful of times in my life, but each time I did my spirits were lifted. He was a genuinely lovely and cheerful man with an irresistible big grin and impish sense of humour, and who never failed to ask you about yourself, how things were going, what you were up to.
