Playing Kayden was new territory for me. I’m not usually this nervous in anticipation of a project coming out, but this is my first real venture as a lead in a film.
The mental isolation of playing a lone wolf, the physical obstacle of learning MMA, the uncertainty of shooting in a foreign country with its own deep, robust culture of cinema.
But despite all of this, I’m so proud of everything that I have seen so far and I have so much faith in @castillelandon, our director, to tell the best story we can.

It’s done. Nearly 3 years later. Technically it was grueling; I had to experiment with learning how to draw waves and attaining fine detail with soft charcoal. Creatively it was bittersweet with emotions tied to this piece, which contributed to me constantly putting it off. Finishing it comes with a feeling of accomplishment, catharsis, and honestly relief. And that’s all I have to say about that.
