Ross Mathews Instagram – I think about the things my dad has missed out on since he passed away 20 years ago today. Some things are silly, like iPhones. I can just hear him saying, “This is neater n’ shit!” Some things are major, like the Seahawks winning a Super Bowl. He would’ve loved that. And some things make me so sad that I can barely breathe, like him never meeting my husband or knowing that I turned into the kind of man he hoped I would – one who can stand up for himself & find the funny in everything. I think that would’ve made him proud. I hope it would’ve. He taught me so much, including how to swear like it’s an art form.
