Todrick Hall Instagram – How many Beyonce songs do you count? I was inspired by a video I saw on youtube by “paint” to create a Beyonce medley mash up. I wanted to challenge myself to sing every song that had be released at that time in just 4 minutes, which is mine and Beyonce’s favorite number…I mean she did get married on my b’day 4/4. THEN, I decided to challenge myself to do complex choreo and try to film them all in one take, which is SO much more difficult than it looks when you watch these. Anyway, I recorded the songs and sent the mp3 to my best friend Sheena who was like “I dunno Todrick, it’s just too much…I can’t even tell what the songs are” We still laugh about that to this day…I legit almost didn’t put the video out because I thought the songs sounded to jumbled together, then I realized that Sheena was the same best friend who told me we didn’t have time to learn the McDonald’s drive through so I thought…maybe that’s the new testament.
