Velicia Butterfield is celebrating her birthday today I sat back like everybody else and watched this woman stepping into her grace step into her magic, fierce, strong Visionary, unapologetic, a dreamer, a woman that’s been classy, sophisticated, smart, beautiful and kept her integrity every step of the way! A woman that went from working for the Obamas to google to one of three, overseeing the new era of the GRAMMYs…. Not only is she hand-in-hand with my true hero and brother who is changed my life over and over again the chairman and CEO of the GRAMMYs Harvey Mason, Jr aka @harveymasonjr but she’s also a powerhouse that’s one of the top tier black female executives at @google I’ve literally never been more proud of anything ever in my life…. A story is so wild and so crazy no one would ever believe it…. God has a way of giving you the most random and unexpected assignments and if you have a question, here’s a reminder that you will miss your moment…. It’s Grammy week.
