Aché Abrahams Instagram – My heart is beaming with excitement as I can finally share my introduction video with you all for the 71st edition of @missworld! ☺️🌎💙🇹🇹 As the time gets closer to my departure to incredible India, I take with me all the beautiful people of sweet, sweet Trinidad & Tobago. Being Miss World Trinidad & Tobago meant much more than simply holding a title. I represent my home, my nation, my country that I love with all my heart. Yes we have carnival, the greatest show in the world, we have beautiful beaches, tasty food and rich culture… but most importantly, we have the happiest people with the purest hearts. It means the world to me to be able to go out there and represent our small but mighty islands. So sweet T&T, I dedicate this one to all of you. Aché Abrahams Instagram – In honour of World Read Aloud Day today, I’ve officially launched my children’s book which I created called, “let’s talk about feelings”. 🥹💚 I still can’t believe I wrote a book!!! My goal is to reach the hearts and minds of children and assist them with communicating their emotions. When I was young and struggling with my mental health, I found it extremely difficult to express that I needed help because I didn’t understand what I was feeling. My book is teaching children the tools they need to speak up and resolve internal turmoil. With the guidance of clinical psychologist @ahhalia we were able to focus on the important points necessary to assist in the socio-emotional development of our child readers to ensure they can identify how they feel and learn to cope with the wide variety of emotions we all experience as we go through life. “Let’s talk about feelings” is available as both physical copies and as an interactive e-book. I hope this can reach every child across the world. My project is working closely with community centres, schools and ministries to ensure every child of T&T can have access to mental health and well-being resources, including this book. Thank you to Santa Cruz R.C. for allowing me to read my book to the students today! 😊 copies will now be available to the children at the school library A special thank you to everyone who has supported the creation of my children’s book, including my mommy 😄 along with the students at The University of Trinidad & Tobago who assisted me in designing my avatar, my @missworldtrinidadandtobago family for your continuous support from concept to execution and also my lovely friends at @firstcitizenstt who helped with the printing of these books being distributed around our beautiful country.
