Alix Schwartz Instagram – 1 year of The Fearless Life Photography. Last June I thought it would be fun to pick up my camera again and capture some moments. It had been years since I had done a shoot, probably close to 10 years 🙈. I loved photography in high school, but then my acting took the main focus. When ever photography crossed my mind, so did that feeling of imposter syndrome: I already do ‘too many’ things, how can I be a photographer on top of everything else I do? I still have that fear. Will my identity as an actor be clouded by my work as a photographer? People like to label you as one thing, it makes it easier for them to understand you. So if I must be labeled: I am a Creative. I create emotionally, visually, and physically. From concept to reality, in front of the camera and behind.
This past year has been a reminder that I can do anything I put my mind to and to believe in myself, my passions, and my skills. I still have so much to learn and explore.
