I am NO longer willing to shrink myself, literally and metaphorically to try and fit into some kind of bullshit, oppressive idea of what is valuable and beautiful.
We are here to shine.

In ALL our love and messy, beautiful, fabulousness.
Last November while looking in the mirror I caught myself judging my body hard and feeling so much shame.
I woke up in that moment.
It was sobering to realize that I was still so dependent on my body being a certain size to feel good about myself.
I had fooled myself into thinking I had evolved past that.
But when I took stock I realized my love for myself and my body was conditional (which is not love btw) and I still had deeply engrained disordered eating habits.
These beliefs and habits are layered deep in my subconscious, fortified by the messages we are all fed and then continue to support.
But they can be undone. Slowly but surely, I am moving towards freedom and wholeness.
As always I share in hopes that you will feel less alone in your journey, and inspired to move towards love and freedom.
A lot of my process has been sitting with myself and all the parts of me that are scared and want to buy into the cultural rhetoric that tells us to be thin. The parts of me that believe I won’t work if I’m not thin, I won’t be desired, I won’t be loved, I won’t belong.
The amount of time and energy and money I’ve wasted in the name of thinness.
The amount of love and joy I’ve missed out on.
No more.

I know I’m not alone in this.
This is an epidemic that needs end.
We’ve been brainwashed into thinking our bodies are currency for love and belonging.
Wherever you are at in your journey is okay. You are love and you are loved.
My mission in this lifetime is to let my light shine FULLY and inspire others to do the same!
